The red wines of the La Pura Blanche winery, which are reflected in the series of “Dvir”, “Talpiot” and the flagship wine of the “Lebanon Forest”, are characterized by their uniform geographical origin. The grapes are grown on the biblical “Avot” road (now Route 60), which is the watershed in the center of Jerusalem and at that time stood the Temple. The watershed divides Israel throughout. Many of the biblical settlements were based near the watershed. The unique geographical area and climate prevailing near the watershed is particularly suitable for crops and livelihoods.
As a result, our ancestors planted vineyards in this area.
We are a La Fora Blanche winery from our modern day as a preserve of the growing tradition that existed here more than 2000 years ago.
This is your chance to enjoy a quality wine that comes from the land where the ancient vineyards of our ancestors grew.
The white wines of La Fora Blanche Winery enjoy the uniqueness of the climate in a mountainous area where they grow. Differences in temperature in the region provide varying temperatures that affect the grapes. Summer is mostly hot and winter is cold. Beyond that, the temperature difference between day and night reaches 10-12 degrees.
Which provides a unique climate for growing grapes for white wines.
This is your chance to enjoy a quality variety that comes from the soil, the region and the special climate in which the ancient vineyards of our ancestors grew.
