Yaar Lebanon 2021 was produced from the initial liquid (Free Run – without pressing) of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes (100%), grown in the “Sde Kalev” vineyard located at an altitude of 900 meters, between the high mountain and the Judean Desert, and harvested manually and selectively. The wine was aged in French and American oak barrels and did not undergo any filtration processes.

The new vintage of the winery’s flagship wine perfectly expresses the winemaking philosophy and the wonderful terroir of the Sde Kalev vineyard. Its color is very dark burgundy, almost black.

It has a rich aroma of intense black berries and Belgian dark chocolate, alongside fresh green pepper, rosemary, violets, and lavender blossoms. Each sip of the wine slowly reveals more of its hidden layers.

Talpiot White from the 2024 vintage is a white blend based on Roussanne (40%), Chenin Blanc (30%), and Sauvignon Blanc (30%) grapes.

 

The wine has fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. On the palate, flavors of honey and grapefruit are revealed with balanced acidity. Recommended serving temperature: 8 degrees Celsius.

Rosé Talpiot 2024 was produced from 50% Merlot grapes grown in the Neve vineyard and 50% Grenache grapes grown in the Tel Arad vineyard.

 

The wine has aromas of wild strawberries alongside spring blossoms. On the palate, it offers flavors of berries balanced by refreshing acidity.

 

As the wine opens up in the mouth, a refined sweetness is revealed, accompanied by refreshing acidity with a very delicate green bitterness.

 

The intensity is not too high but definitely present, and the finish is medium and crisp.  A very nice balance between a rosé for a meal and a rosé for the beach.

 

Best served chilled.

And Chenin Blanc (25%) fermented on its skins and aged in clay pots for 6 months. The grapes were grown in the Susiya vineyard, at an altitude of 830 meters above sea level.

The wine has aromas of spring blossoms, along with pleasant nutty notes. On the palate, it displays a surprisingly deep, oily body, elegant acidity, and a long, balanced finish. Recommended serving temperature: 12ºC.

A unique blend based on Viognier (75%) and Chenin Blanc (25%) grapes from the Susiya vineyard at an altitude of 830 meters above sea level.
